Where
can I position my base?
Remember that the up and over
door opens through an arc which projects up to 3'4" in
front of the garage. If you build your base so that the
garage is closer than this to an obstacle, fence, corner
of the house etc, the door will not open. Building close
to an adjacent house wall, retaining wall, shed, workshop
etc: Spar Flat Within 2/3" (50/75mm) Spar Apex / Rockstone
/ RedBrick Within 6" (150mm) Banbury Access required both
sides. Remember to look up! An overhanging tree, if branches
are below eaves height, will prevent installation of your
building, as will gutters overhanging an adjacent building......
